This club was formed to further develop the sport of Rhythmic Gymanstics on the North Shore. Several gymnasts from the North Harbour Gymnastics Centre became foundation members of this new club established in April 2007.
Along with the gymnasts came coaches Margaret Woolf and Pauline Jack. The club has had great success already with all senior gymnasts being selected for Nationals and also 3 girls being selected for International competition.
In 2007 we ran the North Harbour Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, a National and International event on the rhythmic calendar. This competition was a roaring success and was both nominated and a finalist in the Massey University North Harbour Sporting Excellence Awards category of "Event of the Year" held in November 2007.
The club is open to new members who wish to compete or just wish to have fun and keep fit. Competitive and fun classes are available. For more information feel free to contact us.
